Discovering the Joys of Yorkshire

When people visit the United Kingdom they rarely go to Yorkshire, but as one of England’s largest counties it certainly has a lot of terrain to explore. With a number of metropolitan cities and an even larger collection of quaint villages, you can enjoy both the countryside and the city life. To explore the county fully you may want to complete a car rental comparison, then you can take off into the wilderness and stumble upon picturesque villages and hamlets without having to shell out a fortune.

Here is a list of the things you should do when in Yorkshire:

Food and drink plays a large role in the lives of Yorkshire men and women. With food and beverage such as Yorkshire puddings, real ale and tea playing a huge part in the lives of people living in the region you have to experience the delicacies on offer. With tearooms around every corner in the countryside you can even indulge in a cream tea or two.

Betty’s in York, Northallerton, Harrogate and Ilkley are particularly good. These tearooms offer only the finest teas, cakes and dishes. Some even have shops where you can purchase homemade bread, tea, coffee and cakes. Betty’s also make one of the best Yorkshire tea loafs around.

The city of York should also be visited on any trip to the UK. With a hundreds of things to do and see the city is a huge attraction. Walk the ancient walls, get a taste for Vikings at the Yorvik centre and wander the cobbled streets absorbing the history. Spend the evening in a cosy pub with live music, and fall in love with the Yorkshire spirit.

There are many things to do and see in God’s Own County, so next time you are in the UK don’t overlook the county of tea, food and ale.

First pictures of #Paris, #France

Paris, France. The city of love art and culture. One of the greenest cities in Europe.

Eiffel tower, La Défense, The Louvre, Notre Dame Catherdral’s, The Sorbonne, Latin Quarter and Moulin Rouge are few of the touristic sight that you cannot forget to visit if you are planning to go to Paris.

We consider that it’s a good idea to buy the tickets to the touristic places that you are 100% sure that you’re going to visit before your trip, like this you’ll not lose time doing lines. Especially, if you’re going to Eiffel tower and also if you want to buy the Moulin Rouge tickets.

Collioure, small town on the south of France

Collioure. Collioure is small town on the south of France, on the region Languedoc-Roussillon. Probably the most beautiful town of this region. An ancient terraced vines give a wonderful panoramic views.

We suggest visiting this small town on Sunday, like this it’ll be easy to enjoy the traditional market. There you can taste all kind of homemade food that the storekeepers prepared with love.

This town is also known because Gabriel García Lorca fled from Spain during the Civil War.
