The Catalan Pyrenees.

The Pyrenees. Today we would like to share the pictures of our last weekend at the Catalan Pyrenees. We spent there one night, two days.

We spent two days on this amazing valley called La Cerdanya located on the Catalan Pyrenees. That valley is the only on the pyreneans that runs east to west then it’s easy to understand the amazing sunsets that the people who live there can enjoy almost every day. Puigcerda is the biggest city in the valley. The city is in the middle of the catalan and french territory. You can go walking around and cross the border to France.  We would like to recommend some small towns on this region like Urús, Alp, Bolvir, Llívia and Puigcerda. You must visit this tows if you are planning to visit this Valley surrounded by the Catalan and French mountains.

We’re going to post several articles about the small towns, trekking options, sports adventures of this beautiful valley. If you want to be touch with us subscribe to our site.

  1. This is the best conserved example in both the Cabó valley and the county of Alt Urgell, Catalonia.

  2. Single-day excursions provide the chance to visit the many Natural Parks, but for those wanting something a little longer in duration there are many other options. Either way, all you will need is a quality pair of trekking boots and a sense of adventure to enjoy the vast expanse of spectacular rivers, waterfalls, sweeping valleys and panoramic views.

    1. Hi Florence. Thanks for writing us. As you said, It’s full of single-day excursions. It’s a region full of possibilities for the nature lovers. We really love to go to the Pyrenees.
